Does Mezzi Support Accounts Held in Other Currencies?
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Overview
Yes. Accounts held in other currencies can connect, and Mezzi converts their holdings, cash and transactions into US dollars at current exchange rates, so your net worth adds up correctly. Everything is displayed in US dollars, and there's no setting to change the display currency yet.
📌 What You Need to Know
Everything is displayed in USD. Account balances, holdings, dividends and your total net worth are all shown in US dollars.
Non-USD holdings and cash are converted. Stocks listed on non-US exchanges, foreign-currency cash and transactions are converted to US dollars using current exchange rates. Because rates move daily, the dollar value of a foreign holding can change even when its local price doesn't.
Dividends from non-US stocks are included. Dividends declared in another currency, such as those from Canadian, UK and European companies, are converted to US dollars and count toward your dividend income.
London prices quoted in pence are converted correctly, so UK holdings show their actual value.
Non-US funds Mezzi can't price: in a manually added account, you can enter the fund's current price yourself, in US dollars. This also works when the fund shows "—" or Enter amount instead of a price. See How to Manually Add an Account in Mezzi.
Foreign-currency cash in a manual account: enter the value in US dollars and update it periodically.
Important Notes
If a foreign-currency account looks far off from what your institution shows (for example, a local-currency amount displayed with a $ sign), email us. That usually means a conversion didn't apply to that account, and we can check it.
We've heard the request to display balances in other currencies. Your feedback is shared with our product team, but it isn't available today.
🗨 Still Need Help?
If a connected account shows a value that doesn't match your institution, email help@mezzi.com with the account name, the currency the account is held in, and a screenshot of the balance from your institution.
