How to Connect a Second Login at the Same Bank or Brokerage
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Overview
If you have two separate logins at one institution, for example two Fidelity or E*TRADE usernames, you can connect both. If the second attempt signs you in to your first login again, it's because your browser is still signed in to the institution. Sign out of the institution's website first, or connect from a private or incognito window, then add the account again with your other username.
🧠How to Connect the Second Login
In your browser, go to the institution's website and sign out.
Return to Mezzi and go to Profile → Accounts → Connect a new account.
Search for the institution again and sign in with your other username and password.
Select the accounts under that login and finish connecting.
Repeat for each additional login.
Alternative: open app.mezzi.com in a private or incognito window, or in a browser where you aren't signed in to the institution, and connect from there.
💡 Why This Matters
Households often hold accounts under different logins at the same firm, such as a personal brokerage account and a workplace stock plan, or accounts for each spouse. Connecting every login keeps your net worth and allocation complete.
Important Notes
Only connect each login once. If the same accounts appear twice, see how to remove duplicate accounts.
If a login connected but some of its accounts are missing, email us with the institution name. For E*TRADE, see why not all your E*TRADE accounts are showing.
🗨 Still Need Help?
If the connection still uses your first login, email help@mezzi.com with the institution name and a screenshot of what you see after signing in.
