Why Aren't All My E*TRADE Accounts Showing in Mezzi?

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Overview

If you connected E*TRADE and only your brokerage and IRA accounts appeared, that's a known limitation of E*TRADE's default connection: it doesn't share stock plan accounts (RSUs, ESPP) or banking accounts like Premium Savings. Keep your current connection and add a second E*TRADE connection for just the missing accounts, using the alternate connection option. It sometimes takes more than one attempt.

⚠ What You May See

  • Your E*TRADE brokerage and IRA accounts are connected, but your stock plan account (vested RSUs or ESPP shares) is missing.

  • Your E*TRADE Premium Savings account doesn't appear.

  • Fewer E*TRADE accounts in Mezzi than you see when you log in to E*TRADE.

⚙ How to Fix It

  1. Leave your existing E*TRADE connection in place.

  2. Tap Connect a new account and search for E*TRADE.

  3. When the connection window opens, close it with the X, then confirm with Yes, exit.

  4. Select Try Plaid to use the alternate connection.

  5. Log in to E*TRADE and select only the accounts that aren't already in Mezzi.

If the first attempt fails, try again — customers have needed a couple of tries before the accounts came through.

💡 Why This Happens

Mezzi connects to E*TRADE through a data provider, and E*TRADE's default connection only exposes standard brokerage and retirement account data. Stock plan and banking accounts sit outside what that connection shares. A second connection through a different path can reach them, which is why you add it alongside your existing one rather than replacing it.
