Connect Mezzi to Muse from Meta

Overview

You can connect Mezzi to Muse using a custom MCP connector, so Muse can answer questions using your real Mezzi data instead of estimates. Before you begin, make sure you have access to Muse and a Mezzi account with your financial accounts connected. Check your account data in Mezzi first so you have something to compare against.

🧭 How to Connect Mezzi to Muse

  1. Open muse.ai and start a conversation and send:

    1. "Create a custom Mezzi connector using the MCP server at https://api.mezzi.com/mcp. Guide me through the authentication required by Mezzi. Once connected, show me the available tools and use Mezzi to summarize my portfolio. Tell me if authentication or data retrieval fails."

  1. Follow the sign-in and permission prompts Muse shows for Mezzi, and review the requested access before approving it.

  2. Once connected, ask:

    1. "Retrieve my portfolio from Mezzi now. Show which accounts and holdings you retrieved, note any missing information, and identify the Mezzi tools you used."

    2. Compare the result against Mezzi directly, a generic summary isn't confirmation.

  1. Start a new conversation and ask Muse to use Mezzi again. This confirms the connection works outside the original setup chat, not just within it.

Troubleshooting

  • Muse says it is connected but gives a generic answer: Ask it to call the Mezzi connector and identify the source of the information.

  • Information is missing or differs from Mezzi: Check which accounts and data the connector returned, and whether the accounts are up to date in Mezzi. Ask Muse to state any gaps.

  • Setup or sign-in fails: Confirm the server URL is exactly https://api.mezzi.com/mcp.

Privacy and access

  • Muse processes the information it retrieves under Meta’s terms and privacy policy. Review connector access in Muse’s settings.   • Use Mezzi on web or mobile for personalized financial advice. Muse-generated analysis should be checked against the underlying information.
